January 2007 Winter Field Trials

It was so cold, the rabbits wouldn’t come out, but that didn’t stop a determined group of Beaglers at CWBC’s SPO Field Trials on January 13 & 14. Nine 15 Beagles and six 13 Beagles competed

Saturday judges took out a cast of five and then chose the top three. They then took a cast of four and chose the top three. Those six then competed for placements in 15Beagles.

On Sunday the 13Beagles competed in one cast.

Melissa Winkelman oversaw the trial as Field Trial Secretary. Janet Armstrong and Gary Flightner manned the chuck wagon, making sure the Beaglers who braved the temperature in the low 20s got something to warm them up a bit.
